IT'S MY BIRDAY!!!!!!!  i am 1 years old today 🎉🎂  i has growed up so much-my mommy sez yes too, but not in the mental department.  i dent knowed whut that means.  but here is me growing so big up!!

well, mommy sez i haz to go nap now and dat i canz bog more later.  so i well see you later.  i dreem about my cake i tink!!  yay me Percy!!

i is famous

you all member win i goed to see Santy Paws, right? well, I dent knowed it but they prized me and put me in the newpaper!  my mommy sez me PErcy is kind of famus!  I tink evry doggie has his day and this is my 15 minutes of famus!!  i do tink I is the cutest of all these other cute doggies--specially with my raindeer antlers.  I  m a Rudoff !  i jest know I must be on Santy Paws nice list now, right?

here is me Percy, and my frind  grumpy old man Asa howling a  duet of Silent nite.  my mommy sez it was innyting but a silent nite.  thin she also sez that there is never such a ting as a silent nite where me Percy lives.  and dat is jest how I like it!!  grumpy old man is even in the happy howliday spirit -- he must be worryrid dat Santy Paws mite not bring him sumpting if he is grumpied up all time.

I got my pitcher taken after I saw Santy Paws.  just looky at how pretty it iz!!  I ruv how everyone is so happy at this time of year, mommy sez its cuz if they are not then mr Santy Paws wont bing them doggie toys and treats.  jest like me.  but I always happy innyway.  I tink Mr. Paws mite bring me sleds and sleds full of good tings cuz I good doggie!

looky whut I finded

I found the best treasure in the park today---some udder doggy left behind the most perfect ball!  it was popped and  worned out and I could git it in my mouth and even squish it!!  me and mommy played fetch with it for a long time and I had such fun!

santy Paws

oh goodness, I getted to go see Sannty Paws tonight.  I sitted on his lap and he asked me whut I wunted for Christmas cuz I has been such good boy this whole year.  I telled him I wanted to live forever cuz I ruv life so much.  sannty paws laughed and sed he wuntd that too!  but wait... I dent tink sannty paws ever had to worry bout not living forever....

my howliday party

there wuz a big Christmas party at my house today    everyone that commed also had basset hounds in their lives.  it wuz a lot of fun, but soon it got a lot loud and I wuzzed tired becuz you know whut?  I goed to my furst rally class this morning!  yep I is learning sumting brand new and I loved it!  I git to go evry Saturday for a while!  but inyways, happy howlidays to my group of frinz knowed as Timberline Basset Hound Club!  it wuz a fun day and I tink everyone ruvved me Percy. 

my 1st RATO leg

oh, I has so much fun today.  I gotted to go to barn hunt in  open class and I finded 2 rats in the barn, I climbed up on sum hay bales and I wented thru a tunnel, all in one minute and 8 seconds!.  I doned so good that I getted a ribbin for 1st place in my height group and also winned 1st place in my entire open class!!!! I wuz the best in all doggies in open today!  me, percy  winned a big rosette and 2 udder ribbons and also a cute white rat toy!  I wuz so cited--so wuz my mommy.  she even tap danced on the hay bales when I qualified!!  I did find them ratties and I ridded the barn of them vermits.  I done my good doggie job.  I has one leg now towards my next barn hunt title!!  I has only 2 to go.   I canz wait for next hunt trial!!!

since my mommy got us all new beds she sez I has to be careful on her couch.  she sed I has to try to stay off it but if I cant thin she will protect it with a couch cover.  well guess whut?  I dent knowed that I cudnt go under it, I tinked it wuz a big blankie.  oops.  mommy sez Percy, no, do not go under there.  oops

my mommy got us anudder new doggie bed.  isnit is nice?  I like it cuz it is cushiny.  we all like beds like this that has sides cuz it makes us feel like we are being snuggled up.  and who doesn't like to feel snuggled up?  plus I tink I look so cute in it.  do not worry-it is not too small.  it is jest right.

I am practicing finding those nasty rats that hide in the hay bales inside of barns.  mommy sez I has another test coming up soon and I has to learn to concentrate and not go peepee in the barns.  dat is so hard for me not to do.  but mommy sez she knows I canz find those bad rats and rid the barn of them.  here is me up on top of the hay sniffing out dem vermits.

I wuzzed being a pest and wanting to beg evrybuddys dinner so I got  sent to anudder room and had to stay behind this gate.  it wuzzed so horrible.  I cud smell it and still watch my people eating what I tink I wunted so much. I cried and stared the whole dinnertime.  my people jest dent feel sorry for me at all.

 I jest learnt that people celebrate Christmastime with special decoerations.  that's all good, but thin this crazy ting showed up in my kitchen.  I dent knowed whut it wuz so I sniffed at it then it lit all up!  I tink it liked me!

I canz not believe that I em almost one years old already.  can you?  I wuzzed borned out in December munth-the same as my mommy!  I was borned out 2 days before her birday, and she sez that iz why we ruv each udder so much, cuzzed we are borned out so close to each udder.  it is also sumtink called Christmas munth.  so my mommy sez we need to start celebrading this too.  ok, so I haz to pretend I is a rain dear.  I like it so much and tink I is so dorble

I know my snout is so good at smelling cuzzed I canz find them same rocks.  today I sniffed and sniffed and licked and licked trying to git a very small piece of potato chip that had falled down in a crack.  I wuz scratching and digging and licking for long time.  mommy finly haz to come out and see whut I wuz after.  she was sprized at how small of a crum I could smell, but wuz more sprized that I wouldn't give up trying to git it.  here I em and here iz the chip.

so here I am with my rock number 3.  I is so cited win I bring them in from the backyard.  I run thru the doggie door so fast and happy.  then I toss down number 3 today!.

I still ruv to play the game where I canz find the same 3 rocks in my backyard.  it mazes my famly cuzzed there are a million different rocks, but I always bring in the same 3.  evin win they hide them frum me.  here I am with number 1!

i had good Thanksgiving

my very first Thanksgiving was great!  I spended my day at my mommys feet helping her make yummy tings.  I getted to eat a turkeys liver yum yum.  I also eated a little bit of turkey meat.

I tink that I wuzzed so tired after dinner that I snuggled my new football turkey toy in my bed and watched some football between naps.  I ruvved yesterday!!
