boat day

we went out on our boat for fishing today.  we went to a big lake.  I member last year I tinked it wuz the ocean.  but I em smarder now and those were the silly old days that I thinked  that.  lookit how smarder I em dis year

for lunch we went to the shore and me and mommy explored all around.  there were ant mounds as big as me. mommy sed no no Percy, don't go near those big ant homes. that ting in frunt of me is one 

I dent go near it.  thin mommy sed no no Percy don't go near those big cow pies.  but I like pies.

mommy sed it wuz cow poopie pies.  how come is poopy called a pie?  I wunted to go near it.

but instead I goed back near the beach.  mommy sed no no Percy don't eat the seeweed

I dent eat it, instead I jest goed pee pee on it.

after lunch mommy catched a big fish.  she wunted it to say hi to me so I sed "hi big fish"

thin all of the sudden it screamed at me with its mouth all open big.  I sed aaauuugghh and wuz scaret

but mommy sed no no big fish, don't scare  my percy.  thin she catched anudder one so I jest sticked my tung out at it and sed phooey.

but thin I has to admit I wuz a liddle curious, so I taked a gud curious luk at him.  he dent scream out

he dent open his mouth or scare me, percy at all.  I liked dis big fish,  but thin mommy put him back in the big lake and he swimmed away.  bye bye big fish! 

I has anudder story to tell you about my venture today, but I em tired up and has to go to bed.  so I will tell you soon.  it will be worth your wait.  it is a movie story!!!  night night for now.

a needle in your bonnet

has you ever heard this phrase?  well, it's not in my bonnet, it is in my tail, and it is jest a pine needle

o grate, my mommy jest tellt me that the saying is "a bee in your bonnet"  whoops.  oh well.  I em glad I don't have a bee in my bonnet, or my tail, or inyting else for that madder. 

its thursday

since it is Thursday it is nosey work day.  I em starting my next class tonight and will learn about a certain odor.  I em so cited I jest can not wait to git inside and start learning!

Win i getted inside I learnt that birch odor is whut i em sipossed to be finding.  It smells like spearmint.  my teacher lady thoughted she wud be sneeky and put the odor inside a tin inside a box

but me, Percy, finded it inyways!

so I lukked at her and sez, you are not as sneeky as you tink you are teacher lady!!

and I finded that birch odor agin, and agin.  I evin tore box tops off to git to the odor.  cuzzed I gitted cookies win I find that smelly tin! and I ruv cookies and clapping! do you like my working harness?

I tink that is a preddy cool pitcher of me working my search.  it shows a lot of motion lukking stuff. cuz I work so fast!  bam, like lightening!

I find it evrytime that sneeky teacher lady hides it!  I tink noseywork is a lot of fun.  I ruv Thursdays!

landscaping ideaz

well I jest can not git that liddle house out of my doggie mind.  I really must have it.  so I em tinking about some yard ideas.  I want to plant sum of these preddy flowers callt  Twolips.  they are mommys favorite and I tink they are preddy specil cuzzed they tell you when spring is coming.  they sprout up thru snow and win you see dis, you know it is maybe the last snow and springtime iz coming tomorrow. or the next day.

I em also tinking about the trees I wunt in my new yard.  so today on our walk I asked my mommy to take sum pitchers of me with sum preddy trees.  I tink I wunt a white one and a red one!

my mommy telled me that for each white flower on this tree there will be one crabby apple.

I ruv apples but I worry about having crabby ones in my new yard. but it sure is preddy.

win the flowers fall off it looks like snow on the ground. 

next is the red tree that smells like my mommy win she gits out of the shower

so I has to git one for my own yard.  thin it will always smell like mommy. maybe I canz git these frum that cool tree farm we went to.  I has lots of planning for my new liddle house.

my own liddle doggy house!  I ruvved it so much!  I asked mommy if we cud bring it home!.

she sed no.

but she sed I cud go inside.

so I did

that is me in side the window.  I tended that it wuzzed my own liddle house.

thin I heared my mommy say Percy its time to go home now.

so I looked out my window and I sed but mommy dis is my home.

do you not know that mommy?  this is percys home sweet liddle home!.  she jest sed lets go.

I has to figure out a way to make this liddle home my own!  I goed home and tinked real hard.

lets come up with sum ideas togedder.  I really has to have this liddle house! so tink tink tink.

tree farm

I went with my mommy today and visited what boy doggies might tink is heaven on earth--a tree farm!  oh boy I wunted to peepee everywhere, but mommy sed no no Percy someone mite wunt to buy these trees. it is not a park. 

so I runned and runned and thin found these cool climbing mounds.

I tended I wuzzed a mountain goat and I climbed up the big giant mountains.

thin I goed back to the trees but mommy sed percy come back now.  so I did. 

after this I finded the most coolest ting ever...I will share my findings with you tomorrow.!!

my cool award

me and mommy got dis super cool award after the doggy show yesterday.  it is a sellibration of our titles over the past year.  there are 5 wards dat me and mommy earned so there are 5 special placks. 

do you see them all hanging down?  I getted the most awards of innyone else in the whole club!!

yay me, Percy!  I gitted my RATN, RATO, CGC, CGCA and my  CGCU !! whut a great year.

      I canz not wait for our next year.  by way- I already has 2 trick dog titles for next year placks!

show day!

well, guess whut?!  I goed to the doggy show today and I did my performance with this map.

it wuzzed so fun.  thin when we getted done with the map, the judge gived me a big ole hug and kiss

he sed good job Percy, you doned such good job.

and do you see whut he gived me mommy?  yup, that's right--2 giant ribbons!!

that's cuzzed I getted a qualifying score in rally novice and I gitted my furst leg towards my title

yay us!  that one sign wuz sumpting I had to know how to do--call front, finish right, forward.

I knowed how to do it all today, and dat is how come I getted a leg.  my mommy wuzzed so happy

thin I getted to see my sidder Charlie Girl!!  we played and played and I made silly faces.

and of course me and mommy and Charlie girl and Carole taked our special pitcher togedder.

oh we has both growned up so much.  I sure wish we cud see each udder more often.  I miss my sister

I also gotted to meet sum new special frinds at the show today.  and I jest layed around sum too.

I has such good day.

tornado in Atlanta

well dog gone it all.  there wuzzed a wind storm and my florida Debbie and Florida Mike and my frind Cecilia (who has my papa), can not come to my doggy show on tomorrow.  I will miss seeing dem so much. the news has me so sad.  I jest moped around all day.

I wunted to make everyone so proud of my furst time in the rally ring.  I jest layed around sum more.

but I knowed I still gitted to go to the show tomorrow so I cheerd up and practiced my rally moves.

                                        now I em cited again.  plus, I git to see my sidder Charlie girl!!!

nosey work

I gitted to go to my nose work class tonight and train on how to sniff out a van for odors!
whut I really smelt was bolony on the van!  it sure wuz a treat to find a car covered in food!

barn hunt day

evin tho it came a lot of snow...

...me and mommy still drove to get sum ratties today.

I tried reely hard but I em having trubble in the barn agin.  I wud radder eat tings off the ground and jump on everyone in the barn to say well, hello.  thin after a few minites mommy sez well cmon Percy, its time to go out of the barn now.  and thin she shows me a rat and everyone claps and sez good boy.  I always do has fun. and whin I get home, I em so tired out.

I dreamt of our big show coming on Friday and seeing my sidder and Florida Debbie and Mike!!

rally trial praktise

I goed to Petco today to work on sum rally mooves.  I did lots of gud praktise.  I had good time-I smile when mommy stops and I has to sit.  I hope I canz do so good for the show on Friday.  keep your paws crossed for us. 

do you see those flea medicine boxes on the shelf behind me?  I member hasing fleas.  I hated it.

does this cookie remind you of somebuddy special?  yes!  it's me, Percy!!  my mommy and sum of her frinds made lots of basit hownd cookies for our special doggy show coming up on Friday.  it is gunna be such good week gitting ready and practicing rally and seeing my Florida ppl and being cited.  oh yeah, innyway, here is the Percy cookie.  mommy sez it luks jest like me and dat it evin has lots of naughty spots, jest like all mine.  I jest tink I wunt to eat it.  nom.  do you like it?

fools Day

today I em a jester cuz I em sposed to act like a fool.  it is April furst.   I ruv acting like a fool.  and not jest for today, but everyday!  I tink I luk more like my sidster Poppy than a jester tho.

 

my  mommy played a prank on me, Percy, for today.   she sayed we were goink somewhere special. so I followed her.  we went in to the bathroom and she sayed April Fools Percy!!  then she trimmed my toenails off.  whut a sneeky Aprils fools day joke mommy.
