Well, Bronwyn is not the sweet liddle kitten that mudder tinks she is.  In fact, she is a beast.  A beast that stalks me and gives me the swat down.  I try to make frinds with her so we canz play togedder, but she never wunts innyting to do with me.  mudder sez, "lookit Percy, she is so sweet she evin has a cute little heart-shaped patch on her back, awwwww".

So I tried to giver her anudder chance to be frinds with me and play togedder.

but instead, she hissed at me and tried to tack me.

I barked out for mudders help to save me.  but whin mudder came, this is whut she saw

mudder sed "Percy, whut is the madder with you?  leave the sweet little kitten alone".  Mudder never knows that the new little kitten is rilly an indoor snow cougar jest waiting to eat me up.  This is whut she rilly is like to me, Percy

but this is all mudder ever sees

and all mudder hears is friendly happy purring, not the big cougar hiss that she gives to me.  SIGH

I did not make mudder very happy today.  Right after she gived me a bath, I sneeked outside and made my own mud pit to roll in.

and I came inside lukking like this

I runned all over the house all crazied up.  I dragged a mess everywhere and barked and barked and barked.  Win mudder came out of her shower she shrieked out "PERCIVAL!  WHUT HAVE YOU DUN NOW?"  I gived her a sad liddle face and tried to act sorryful.  But I had to have anudder bath innyways.  and mudder made me stay inside until I wuzzed all dry.  and she played the naughty naughty naughty button miny miny miny  times.  I do not tink the naughty naughty naughty button is intertaining one bit.  

but mudder sed she did not tink giving Percy 2 baths in one day wuzzed very intertaining either.

uh oh, I canz not see innyting, for a moment I tinked I wuzzed blinded, then I realized it wuzzed jest my own ear.  crazy.  mudder joked and sed "Percy, you will never see the hippities like that!".  I sed tank oo for tellink me dat mudder.

 sum times whin I am being a pest mudder sez "Percy I em sorry but you has to give me a break for a few minutes".  thin she puts up a gate to separate me frum her.  I hate it for the whole 4 minutes.

I has learnt how to position my eyeballs so I canz luk right thru the round circles.  It makes mudder giggle and she sez "ok Percy, come back thru, becuz I can not stand seeing your sad liddle face.

at furst you mite think this is a real doggy out in the freezing cold.  but don't you worry, it is only my frind Mr cement.  he lives on my frunt porch.

He luks very sad.  But he always luks like this.  

a new adventure

me and mudder went on a furst time experience today!  I gotted to go to a doggy park and it wuz so fun!  Today is a bootiful January day in Colorado.  Not iny snow in sight.  jest lookit the sun shining down!

It made me so happy to run around on my own.  And it made my mudder calm to knw I wuz safe inside a big fenced yard.  We had the whole place to ourselves for a liddle while.  Mudder sed that is why we got to go!

I wuz so cited, my paws did nt evin touch the ground!  Thin sum frinds came along and I gitted to say hello to them.

I gave this guy a big sniff to introduce myself, thin these guys commed running in and gived me a big sniff to introduce themselves.

I wuzzed a liddle nervus becuze they were so much bigger thin me.  And also becuz I tinked they were jealus of my whistle-you know like people git jelus of fit bits and smart watches.  I hoped they wud not give me a mugging to steal it away from me.  

they did not.

you can always tell how much fun I have by how dirty I git.  Today wuzzed a very fun day!

ice practise

today my mudder sed "come on Percy, it is a sunnty day and it is time you learnt how to walk safely on ice so you canz come fishing with us soon".  I sed "ok mudder let us go togedder.
I ruv it whin my mudder teaches me new tings.  she sez I am a fast learner.

however, as soon as we arrived mudder sed "Oh dear Percy, we have a bit of a problem"  the lake wuzzed not all freezed up-do you see the open water?  I had to stay on my leash very near the shore.

I wuzzed all safe and I learnt how to not slide , I also learnt something else...

that ,melting lake water tasted rilly yummy!

as always I had a liddle photo shoot.  did is me looking like a sentry to keep everyone safe!

I tended I wuzzed a life guard on the ice!!  nobody at all falled thru today!

icicles and frozen wadderfall

me and mudder went on a hike today to see if our wadderfall wuz frozed up yet.

it wuz a icy walk and I pulled and pulled and almost slid down a cliff and taked mudder with me.  I wuz so lucky that mudder keeped a good hold on my leash!  

it wuz like a ice castle!  these icicles were as big as me!

and sure enuff, our wadderfall wuzzed frozed solid.  I kept lukking at it to see if it wud melt and turn to wadder but it never did.  

I lukked up at all of the icicles and pretended I wuz a pirate in a cave.  ayyyeee matie.

it wuz a fun hike, except for the almost sliding overboard part.  I had a black neck after this walk for sure!!  mudder calls me pulling Percy.  I keep her shoulder frum ever heeling up...

I tried to luk sorry for pulling so much, gud thing the sun wuzzed in my eyes-it gives me a gud sorry face.  

peeky boo

Phil spended all day today making repairs on our fence to keep those bad rocks frum coming underneath into our yard.  Mudder spent hours on knee pads looking at every square inch of yard to make sure all rocks are for sure picked up.  I wuzzed curious to see the neighbors back yard, so I taked a quick peek.

it wuz so great it made me smile!

I sed to grouchy pants ASA, "hey, come here and have a lookit the neighbors backyard".

Grouchy pants telled me to mind my own bizness and quit being a peeping tom...  why did he call me tom?  has he gone crazier than normal?  whut a funny grouchy pants.  doh

i eated anudder rock

I am back in the hospital bucuzzed I ate anudder one.  Mudder is scaret becuz the dr. vets say that this time I have to have my tummy cut open so they can git it out.   

I has to have an IV and git hooked up to medicines.  I em towing up and having mucus diarrhea.  Mudder taked me out one more time before my operation.  Thin the dr. vet sed he wud check one last  pitcher of my insides to make sure the rock is still stuck....

GUESS WHUT?????  The rock wuzzed gone!!!!  mudder dent evin know it but win I goed outside that last time I pooped it right out!  it wuzzed dark and mudder cud not see it.  So they taked a flashlight outside and sure enuf-THERE WUZZED THAT BAD ROCK!!!!

everybuddy hooped and hollered and mudder and Phil nearly cried tears of happiness!  I em so happy too, becuz now I git to come home!  

It sure wuzzed a long and stressfull day, but I em home and snuggled up with my cattypiller.  ahhh.

Christmas tree dumping

Today on my wok with my mudder we finded a pile of used Christmas trees.  I cud not believe it, who wud jest dump their trees in the park?  I went to investigate.

I taked a gud look in the middle of the heap and win I came out mudder was laughing and laughing and laughing!  She taked a pitcher of whut all her laffing was regarding!  I em preddy funny indeed.

I tangled up in sum old decorations frum inside the heap of trees--and I came out decorated!!

i has a thought

I am laying here thinking that I em not a liddle puppy innymore so I em goink to stop calling my mommy "mommy"and I em goink to start calling her mudder.  That is my newest thought.

Sometimes I sleep in very strange positions.  Here is my new favorite one.

Happy New Year

Today is the furst day of 2018.  I em cited to get it going.  For gud luck this year, mommy made me eat a pea, one that she callt a black eyed one.  Evrybuddy in the house ate at least one, except for my frind Bronwyn.  Mommy sed cats canz not eat peas, cuz it mite make their tummys explode.  if peas really bring gud luck, maybe I should eat one each day.  Happy New Year frinds!!!!

year end

It is almost the end of anudder grate year.  I did so much fun stuff.  Let us member togedder...  I got to learn to swim, I drifted down the Bighorn river in a boat, I traveled through 2 new states, I earned 8  new titles, I got to go to a Kyra Sundance workshop, I hiked a lot and splored lots of new places, I camped in a tent overnight, I learned lots of new tricks, I went in to a show ring for the first time, I passed a rabbit hunting test, I meeted a lot of new frinds, and, not that it was grate, but I had to stay overnite in a hospital for the second rock I ate.  I bet I has had more xrays this year than you has had in your whole life!!!  there wuz so much gud about this year, plus I gotted my new cat frind.  If you have read my blog, whut canz you ad to the list??  I can't wait for 2018!  in 4 1/2 more hours it will be here.  Yippeeeeeee!!!!!  We are hasing a giant feast of food tonight, I em going to stay up until the new year is here to cellybrate.

no, I am not going to make it until midnight....goodbye 2017, and goodnight.

Every once in a while at my house we has a speshal  day when we take my old, used up stuffed toys and cut them open to find new toys inside!  The inside toys are evin bedder than the whole toys-you never know what's inside--squeekers, bottles, nubby balls, sometimes evin miniature toys!!!

It makes a big ole mess, and I ruv it!

mud bath

 I am having such a hard time being a good boy lately.  Today Mommy gived me a nice fresh bath.  thin, when she wuzzed giving herself a bath, I goed outside in the freezing cold and thawed out myself a mud pit to roll in!

I comed inside and wallerd on the Christmas tree skirt and then tracked my mud prints all over the place.

Mommy wuzzed so not happy with me when she wuzzzed out of her bath.  

She taked me right back in for annuder.  And she was saying a lot of bad words.  Good ting Santy Paws already commed with my gift!
