no one will evin believe whut I finded on my walk today.  somebody lost their eye!  and I finded it.

I wunted to pick it up in my mouth but mommy sed no no Percy, you don't need that.  I guessed she sed that cuz I already has 2 eyes of mine own.  but I worrit that someone is missing one.  If you has lost your eye, tell me, cuzzed I know jest where it is.  you don't tink that's a zombies eye do you??

my really long hike in the wildraness

mommy had a special sirprize for me today.  she taked me on a so much fun meandering through sumpting callet open space.  I'm glad it wuzzzed open, cuz I worrit that it mite has been closed.  innyways, I will share sum pitchers with you all.  it is callt Dawson Butte.  here is the butte.

do you know that it wuz 5 miles long?  our hike I mean, not the butte.  I runned full bore for the first 4 1/2 miles!  so winned we got to this sign mommy laughed.  she sed that me, Percy never slows down. 

it telled us to slow down bcuz there cud be horses on the path in the forest and guess whut?

there wuz horses! and they ruved me and I wunted to play. but mommy sed no no Percy, they are too  big and strong. so instead I finded sum of their poopy and rolled in it!   

mommy sed NO Percy, YUCK.  she sed I wud need anudder bathtime.  and I dent want that so I shaked all of the stink off of me.

but win I comed out I was in a big ray of sunshine!  so I gave a funny face jest cuz.

since I runned and runned all day I wuz konked out win I gotted home.  I taked a nap even.

meeting a frind that is my color

on my walk today I played and played with a new frind named Easton.  golly wuz he fun!  his ppl were nice and they sed that me, Percy cud join in with Easton while they throwed the ball for him.  I has never seen a doggy run so fast. Easton - wuz like lightnink fast - but I steel tried and tried to keep up with him!

I cud not get to the ball befour Easton no madder how hard I tried...

so in stead I jest sniffed him and then he gave me the wolfman lip like old man Asa duz sumtimez. 

we are the same color, dunt you tink?  His doggy kind is called Brittany.  isn't that a gurls name?  oh well, it did not mean a ting to me, I jest really liked Easton a lot,  he kept chasing that ball for so long that I jest had to sit down and watch.  steel, that wuz fun.  he wuz a great new frind.  he wuz  around 8 years old.  I hope I git to see him on anudder walk soon!

zoinks... jest lookit at these frightful tings on my counter!!

after my mommy telled me around 15 times to stop jumping up on her counter while she wuz trying to cook, I jumped up one more time and GULP--these bad boys were looking right at me!.  thin I tried sumptink.  I gave one a lick and wowowowowowowow it tasted like so sour zombie eye juise.  I, Percy almost yelped out a liddle bit..  it wuz the yuckiest ting I has ever put in my mouth,  and mommy sez that is saying a lot.  I did not jump up on mommys counter again today after that fright.

well here I em missing my mommy.  she wuz on the udder side of the baby gate without me.   make sure your volume iz turned up cuz I am doing sum very cute noises which makes my lip flap!

groundhogs day

so it is the day of the hog.  mommy sez that he-- punxsutaweyney phil --did not see his shadow today, so for sum strange reesun there will be 6 more weeks of winter.  whut duz a groundhog know innyways??  I tink dat it shud be basset hound day.  cuz we basset hounds are always optimistick for springtime and summertime.

my mommy feels bedder so we goed for a walk today.  I runned and runned, and my shadow always goed with me!  it is so nice weather outside, and it feels like springtime my mommy sez.

well, its Saturday night and mommy sez  its my turn to make dinner.  I do not know how to cook, I do not even know where my mommy keeps our fud, but she told me to put on my apron frum bark box and git buzy.  this is me looking very not thrilled to be having to figure it out.

I cud not figure it out.  so mommy fed us, like always.  num num.  she is a good cook.

it is so cold outside agin.  I am so happy that I has caring owners with a warm house.  I feel sorry for any doggy frinds that don't have this.  it makes me very sad.  in the meantime I am snuggled under a nice warn blanket dreaming of finding rats and learning tricks and getting treats becuz I em so smart!

I has not forgiven Asa for calling me Pee Pee Pants Percy, so  I told him I wuz running away.  this is whut he did.  I told him in his ear while he wuz sleeping and he smiled!  yes, he did....

i almost runned away

now Max and Asa are calling me Pee Pee Pants Percy.  did I tell you how I peed 5 times at rally practis last week?  yup, I peed all over the place.  I'm still eating my cranberry pills and I gotted new doggy food to try to help.  but I em so mad at Max and Asa so I packed sum things and I wunted to run away. 

                        I has sum bones in my bag for me and sum garlic to keep away the zombies.

                                     I started getting sad cuz I really dent want to run away

but I picked up my bag to go...and thin mommy grabbed it and sed Percy, I jest love you so much.  please do not run away frum me ever. 

so I dent run away. 

instead I went and grabbed mommys kitchen towel and gave her the chase me face!!!  we played and played.  I'm so happy I dent run away.  phooey to you Max and asa.

it was a bad time

well, yesterdays barn hunt was a fail.  I pee peed in the barn so I gotted kicked out.  mommy wuz not proud of me much.  I climbed and went thru the tunnel but when I commed out of the tunnel I smelt sumting that I wanted to mark as mine.  so I did. mommy wuz calling and calling "Percy, come find sum ratties" cuz she knowed whut I wuz gonna do.  I dent listen to her at all.   mommy said oh no Percy, not agin.  and the judge lady said oh no Percy too.  I don't evin has a pitcher for todays bog becuz nothing really good happened. my mommy callz me pee pee Percy.   .   😟😡😓

I git to go hunt dem rats in the barn today!  I can not evin wait.  
                      dis wuz me frum sunday pracktis!  I climbed so high looking for them vermits.

today I hurd sumptink up on my rooftop.  I got so cited cuz I hoped Santy Paws wuz coming agin!
but win I looked I saw this and I didn't tink it was ole saint nick. 

this guy wuz shoveling snow off of my roof  thin he shoveled the shingles off of my roof.  I wuz so confused.  thin Asa said to me to look out the frunt door.

there wuz an escalater driving boxes to my roof.

thin mommy sez we has to get new roof cuz those dipping dots broke ours last summer.

there sure wuz a lot of pounding.  I wud rather it have been santy paws.
