i am a BN now

Beginner Novice title-completed!  I did pretty gud-i got 187 and a neat ribbon bucuzzed I finished my title.  Mudder wuz so proud.

                                                   I think I have 11 AKC titles now.  and more to go!

ring practice

me and mudder went to the tennis courts at our park today so we cud practice on our obedience before our trial tomorrow.  she thought it would be a good idea becuz they are enclosed and I cud not run away frum her.  but whin we got there ppl were playing tennis on the courts.  so we went over to the basketball court and practiced there. it wus not fenced in, but I dent evin try to run away.  I wuz a gud boy and did all of my work, even my stays!.  I hope I can remember to do this gud at the trial tomorrow.  mudder will be so happy if I do.

Oh my goodness.  mudder showed me this pitcher  and asked me where my head went??  she is right-I luk like my head is gone, missing, not even there innymore.  Don't worry tho, my head is still attached,  it is just out of the pitcher.   this wud be a great april fools joke.

summer is coming

the outside weather has been so nice lately.  I am able to start sitting on my porch in the sun again.  I love to sleep on mudders back patio swing.

may day

Mudder calls it HEY day.  she wokked in and sed "HEY, Percy, why have you made such a mess of your beds?"

that is not all I had done-I wuz in mudders chair and put nose marks all over the frunt window, I stealed big lambchop and liddle lambie frum Asa and pulled down the blanket frum the couch.  mudder sed it certainly wusnt the worst I had ever done tho.  

Percyitis

 mudder is sposed to wear this boot to help her foot feel bedder.  she telled me she has a bunch of itises.  tendonitis, faciaitis, bursitis...  and a new ting callt Percyitis.  she sed I canz not keep pulling her on our woks.  sorry mudder.  I will try not to pull.  hope your itises go away soon.

do you remember me telling you about mudder cleaning everything yesterday?  well she puts on her summder bedding at this time of year too.  Bronwyn got right up on the fresh sheets and got all comfy.

I telled her to git off of mudders fresh bed.  she did not git down.  instead she jest gived me a dirty look.

she telled me that I canz not evin see her becuz she blends in with all of the white.  I sed that yes I cud see her grumpy little felion face.that made her mad.

she runned over to give me a liddle swat.  

I jest runned away frum her.  

spring cleaning

every year at this time mudder goes on a cleaning frenzy.  she makes every thing bright and shiny agin for the coming summer.  Winter makes a lot of messes like mud and dust.  she bringed in a ladder and I wuz curiuos about it.  she telled me to paws on.

I did it jest like she sed.  I wuz trying to figure out how to climb up higher but mudder sed no no Percy, I am not being serious.  you cud hurt yourself  .  come on down frum there.

a basset in a bracelet

mudder created this bracelet out of 3,246 beads.  it turned out lukking like my sister Charlee girl, so mudder is going to give it to her frind Carole who is Charlee girls mudder. I tink carole will love it!

my mudder is in another state visiting her brudder.  I did not get to go.  but what is even worse is that she is sleeping with anudder doggie...  and he is very cute...

winter glove

while mudder wuz cleaning out her winter tings I stealed acold weather glove.  she sed "ummm, Percy, give me my glove"

I wunted to play chase so I teased her and ran away.  she chased me all around the back yard and back in to the kitchen agin.

she decided I cud have it for a toy, so I destroyed it.

I tink it luks like a skelinton hand.  Makes me excited about Halloween!

my mudder is my favorite

I tink she is the best hooman in the world.  I give her lots of kisses

she tried to give me a smooch but I laughed out!  she is a funny companion.

a romp in the park

Mudder wuz worried that I might be scairt of random doggies since I got attacked last night.  so she taked me to the doggie park to play with some nice friends.  I met fun buddies and wuz never rilly scairt innyway.  If I'm not afraid of these 2 big Alaskan dogs I'm not afraid of anything...

we played follow the leader.  this big boy wuz a pest.  he bothered evrybuddy at the park.

I tagged one of the Alaskan dogs, but he jest stared at me.  

so I sticked my tung out and ran away.  then he chased!!

nothing to worry about mudder, the attack has not scarred me at all.

Can you tell me why other doggies don't like me?  I try so hard to be happy and funny.  and I tink I am preddy cute too.  today on my walk with phil I got ambush attacked by a crazy off leash dog.  phil saved me before he could bite out.  I was jest fine, but I don't understand why I get growled at on my walks.

make a wish

today at the park I found a patch of dannylions.  I tried to smell the flowers cuz mudder always sez take time to do that Percy.  When I taked a sniff I felt tickly tings on my snout. Mudder laughed and sed "oh Percy, you are so funny".

I ate a couple of dannylions too.  my tung did not like them all that much.

I laid down in the patch of flowers and thought about hunting more hippities.

but thin I found a football!  mudder tossed it around and evin kicked it like a football player.

our wok was great today.  there are so many baby rabbits.  I chased one, but mostly I chased the big ones.  oh, I also found a big dead bull snake in the ditch.  

Cabelas

I got to go to Cabelas today.  there was so much to see and do.  I evin got to practice my down stay.

I met some big fish.  too bad they were behind some glass.  I tried to sniff them, but could not.

I posed for a pitcher under a big ole moose.  

and then, I wuz treated like a king.  Mudder let me go on the most comfy bed in the whole store and surround myself by a bunch of huge bones.  

I falled asleep just sniffing the bones.  it wuz a nice trip.

no agility today

Mudder discovered a liddle lump on me today.  she sed she dent think we shud go to agility today so that it wuldnt make it worse.

canz you see it?  it is kind of , but it doesn't hurt at all.  I got to sleep all day on the couch agin. Mudder evin put an ice pack on it for me.  not too bad at all.  but I em lukking forward to going back to learning more agility next week..

it almost worked

I am still sulking about how my plan to blame grouchy pants for digging a hole did not work.  So I tried to set him up by tempting him with an empty bag of doggie food.  I made a bunch of rustiling sounds and sed nom nom nom nom.  I lukked at him with nom nom eyes.

I pretended like I wuz hasing a big ole meal to myself.  

it worked!  grouchy pants sicked his whole head in and I said HAHA, I got you!  you are going to be in so much trubble now...

but mudder wuz no where to be seen.  and later when she saw that I had dragged the empty bag out, she sed "bad boy Percy".  "I think we shud go inside and you shud take a liddle nap".

wow!  I like this kind of trubble....a liddle nap on mudders lap.  she sure ruvs me so much. I will get you grouchy pants Asa, just whin you don't expect it....

i blamed grouchy pants

today I digged a liddle hole in the back yard.  jest a liddle one and I tink I digged it becuz I ate a blade of grass thin went all crazy.  Mudder and grouchy pants Asa came outside to see whut all the rukuc wuzzed about.  I runned away frum the scene and whin Asa followed his nose to my crime, I blamed him!  I told mudder "ohhh mudder, lookit whut bad boy has digged".

it did not work, Mudder is not a fool.  she told me to go inside so she cud bury the hole.  and grouchy pants whispered in my ear that I wuzzed a big brat.  

and he chased me back in to the house...

AND next he helped himself to injoy the sun on my outdoor cushions!  hmmmmpf

I will git him in some sort of trubble sum day...

sleepy tired

the past 2 days has been so busy that today I spent a lot of time jest resting and dreaming of our fun.

I sleep in all kinds of different positions,

do you notice that I am sleeping on my trophy pillow?

I change it around from upside right to upside down.

I tink I like the white bottom side bedder.  whut a great way to finish my long weekend.
